New Manchester office for public realm specialists re-form

Manchester

Public realm specialist re-form Landscape Architecture is set to move into new office space in Manchester.

The company is relocating from the Hive on Lever Street in the Northern Quarter to 921 sq ft of space at Beehive Mill in Ancoats. The switch comes on the back of a series of new project wins.

In addition, the practice has promoted David Livesey to director. Livesey, who heads up the Manchester studio, will now be a shareholder in the company.

The business was created by landscape architects Andrew Price and Guy Denton in 2011. It now operates across two studios in Leeds and Manchester.

Livesey said: “Moving into new office space will enable us to harness opportunities presented by a growing number of major projects in the region. More than ever, developers and those working in the built environment realise the benefits of incorporating high-quality public realm to create a place, and not just a building, for the people who live, work and play in our cities and towns. ”

Price added: “David’s promotion is both in recognition of his contribution to the practice to date, and our commitment to our Manchester studio. We’ve established a fantastic team in the city who are working on some great projects in the city centre and across the North West, and now is the right time to move into a larger space which can accommodate our future growth.”
