Watch: Selecting species for a better urban treescape by TDAG

Trees and Design Action Group (TDAG) ran a seminar in March of this year about selecting tree species in urban areas. The event sold out, with many people missing out. But fortunately the event was recorded and has now been posted on YouTube for you to enjoy.

TDAG are also releasing a new tablet guide: How can we improve species selection so that we can provide our towns and cities with diverse and resilient palette of trees that are capable of thriving in challenging urban environments? Due to be released in April 2018, this new TDAG guide will offer for the first time in the UK a comprehensive decision-making support tool for enhancing ecosystem services provision through tree species selection. Designed as a user-friendly searchable resources, the guide will provide research-based informations on characteristics, natural habitat, environmental tolerances, ornemental qualities, issues to be aware of, notable varieties and use potential of a wide range of tree species.

To be notified as soon as the guide is released, please register your interest on the TDAG website here.
