LUC on the winning team for three New London Architecture Awards


LUC is delighted to have been on winning teams for three projects at the 2017 New London Architecture Awards. The design team worked with Haworth Tompkins Architects on a new Peabody housing scheme in Silchester, responsible for developing the masterplan for this major regeneration project within The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea which comprises 112 new homes (shared ownership, outright sale and social rent), and new community and retail facilities. New Manchester office for public realm specialists re-form


Public realm specialist re-form Landscape Architecture is set to move into new office space in Manchester. The company is relocating from the Hive on Lever Street in the Northern Quarter to 921 sq ft of space at Beehive Mill in Ancoats. The switch comes on the back of a series of new project wins. BDP has been awarded a full interdisciplinary contract for client advisory services to help ensure the safe and secure future of the Palace of Westminster. Since its construction in the mid-1800s, many features and systems in the Palace have never undergone a major renovation, and the heating, ventilation, water, drainage and electrical systems are extremely antiquated.
